Camera calibration

How to calibrate camera if i have intrinsic and distort parameters in the xml files?

If you have the intrinsic parameters, why do you need to calibrate the camera?

i mean i want to apply these parameters to image i show in imageBox. I capture the camera and want to show calibrated and undistorted image in imageBox.
