Re: Using Multiple cameras of same brand OpenCV EmguCV

Hi LordSAK, You are using the same 'capture' variable to initialise all 3 cameras. This will not work as they are handled in their own threads and require disposing after each call so if you simply wanted to grab a frame from each camera you would need to dispose of each capture, importantly freeing...

Re: Camera Distortion Correction

Hi,

There is a good article here on how the camera calibration operates from the opencv side. The program will require refinement and calibration in order to correct the distortion.

http://docs.opencv.org/3.1.0/dc/dbb/tut ... ation.html

Thanks,
Chris

Re: Camera Distortion Correction

Hi sharil057,

This article will guide you through the process of camera calibration that corrects for lens distortion.

Re: errors using "http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/239849/Multiple-face-detection-and-recognition-in-real" article

HI giain82, No problem, and yes basics such as eye colour are superficial, however the more reliable data you can provide to any algorithm the better. Ideally you would use Iris recognition to identify individuals as this is far more accurate which was where my thinking was. There are plenty of book...

Re: EMGU on Intel Compute Stick

Hi Kmac, I'm assuming that your developing for multiple platforms else as Cuda is not supported you don't have a check for Cuda support. The System.TypeInitializationException is usually down to x64 compilation being used for an x86 platform the first thing to check if you haven't already is that yo...

Hi gian82, I'm not sure I completely understand what your asking but I will try and help, this is my article so I am currently redeveloping all my old code with the release of EMGUcv 3.0. Unfortunately there is no algorithm that is 100% accurate for facial recognition EMGU or otherwise, it simply ca...

Re: Copy an Image from Camera to Imagebox using ROI

Hi Alfon, No problem I have made a similar project with source available here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/fdsurf/files/FFT%20Object%20Tracking.zip/download This was way back with EMGU 2.2 but most the syntax will be similar and transferable to V3. It will give you something to work with until I...

Re: Copy an Image from Camera to Imagebox using ROI

Hi Alfonsusdhani, Once you have set the ROI of the image you can simply use the copy method to achieve what you need. Image<Bgr, Byte> sourceImage1 = CaptureCam1.QueryFrame(); SourceImageBox.Image = sourceImage1; //ImageCopy = new Image<Bgr, Byte>(Template_Box.Width, Template_Box.Height); //we don't...
