Re: Xamarin Forms - very slow full video capture

You can make it "Feel" faster by moving the face detection code to a separate thread: 1. Keep a copy of the facial landmark and face region in memory. The facial land mark detection will run on a separate thread, it may run 1 FPS and update the status of the facial landmark. 2. The main thread will ...

Re: Using Emgu.CV in Xamarin.Forms App (Android) - couldn't find "libcvextern.so"'

For console application on windows, we have a commercial nuget repository, that provide optimized windows runtime. You can also use the regular, non-optimized version from nuget.org. For console application on Mac OS, you need to down the MacOS runtime package on a local folder, and point Visual Stu...

On your commercial license receipt (email), under "User Data", there is a link to download all files for the commercial release. Follow that link, navigate to the Android folder, and you should find the nuget files for Android under the "nuget" folder.

Re: Using Emgu.CV in Xamarin.Forms App (Android) - couldn't find "libcvextern.so"'

Btw, do you get the "libcvextern.so" file from the Android / Professional commercial release? There is no need to directly add the "libcvextern.so" file for the android application. The "Emgu.CV.Platform.Android.dll" file already contains 4 different versions of the "libcvextern.so" file for 4 diffe...

The Emgu.CV.runtime.android nuget package is not available in nuget.org. It is part of the commercial package that you can download from our server after purchasing a commercial license. You will need to put it in a local folder and set it up as a local nuget repo in visual studio.

Re: Support for NVIDIA Jetson Nano

It won't work with the Open CV library from NVidia for Jetson Nano. Emgu CV need the additional code in C/C++ that exposed the Open CV interface to C#. You can try to use the build script here to build the binary (libcvextern.so file) on Jetson: https://github.com/emgucv/emgucv/tree/master/platforms...
